What is Greener Footprints?

Greener Footprints has been set up by a small group of Clevedon residents who are concerned about environmental issues, and in particular what can be done at a local level to address them. There is a small 'steering committee' of about 8 people who are leading a variety of activities, and a larger group of around 30 people who have expressed an interest in providing support. It is ideas from this larger group that have provided the key areas to tackle first.

The group was inspired by a similar team of people from Chew Magna who set up a group called 'Go Zero'. They have achieved a huge amount and we are hoping that we can do the same!

Our Mission Statement is:

Greener Footprints is a group concerned with the effect we are having on our planet and what we can do about it locally. We aim to promote more sustainable lifestyles through raising awareness, stimulating iscussion and co-ordinating local initiatives.
